Therapy can be a short term or long term journey. The number of sessions will depend on your goals and individualized needs. These goals may change throughout the process.

A positive therapeutic relationship is essential to the therapy process. You need to feel safe, supported, and comfortable during therapy.
Therapy is a challenging yet rewarding experience. There will be moments of clarity and moments of confusion or uncertainty. The process is not linear. You may feel like you are stuck or even moving backwards before you feel a positive change. There are many different paths towards change. Sometimes finding a solution requires us to change the way we think about a problem instead of attempting to change the behaviors that caused it.
